British & Irish Lions second-row Alun Wyn Jones returns for the Ospreys to start against Munster in the PRO12 semifinal at Thomond Park.

The Welsh captain has not played since suffering a shoulder injury for Wales against France in the Six Nations clash in Paris on March 18.

His return will be a welcome boost for Jones ahead of the Lions tour and for Ospreys coach Steve Tandy as they look to bounce back from two defeats to the Irish Province already this season.

Munster see Donnacha Ryan and Francis Saili return to the starting XV for their final game at Thomond Park after the club announced both they, Peter McCabe and lock John Madigan will leave at the end of the season.

Conor Murray will continue his return from injury, starting his first game since leaving the field against Wales in the Six Nations while Ian Keatley and Jaco Taute are on the bench having signed new contracts on Friday.

Munster: Zebo, Conway, Saili, Scannell, Earls, Bleyendaal, Murray. Kilcoyne, N Scannell, J Ryan, D Ryan, Holland, O’Mahony, O’Donnell, Stander.

Replacements: Marshall, Cronin, Archer, Deysel, O’Donoghue, Williams, Keatley, Taute.

Ospreys: Evans, Giles, Fonotia, Beck, Habberfield, Biggar, Webb. Smith, Baldwin, R Jones, B Davies, AW Jones, Underhill, Tipuric, King.

Replacements: Otten, James, Suter, Ashley, Cracknell, Leornard, S Davies, Matavesi.
