Following another eventful weekend of Champions Cup action, here’s our British & Irish Lions Team of the Week.

15. Tiernan O’Halloran

The Connacht fullback crossed twice as the PRO12 champions dispatched Zebre on Saturday.

14. Chris Ashton

He is out of the England reckoning but Warren Gatland said he will consider those who are not featuring on the international scene. He scored twice against the Scarlets to secure Saracens a 22-22 draw on Sunday.

13. Elliot Daly

Daly is arguably England’s form centre at present and is playing some wonderful rugby for Wasps, as Toulouse found out on Saturday.

12. Scott Williams

Williams is the glue that keeps the Scarlets ticking over and he was fantastic against Saracens.

11. Keith Earls

Earls cut Glasgow’s defence to pieces on occasion in Saturday’s Champions Cup clash and is making the right noises ahead of the Six Nations.

10. Jonathan Sexton

Montpellier had no answer to Sexton’s game management in Leinster’s commanding win on Friday and he also put in a key tackle to keep the French side at bay.

9. Dan Robson

Robson is yet to play for England but that could all change in the forthcoming championship. He was superb off the bench against Toulouse and scored the match-winning try.

1. Dave Kilcoyne

The Munster prop caused the Glasgow pack all sorts of difficulty and he should be in the Ireland mix for the forthcoming Six Nations.

2. James Tracy

Leinster finished their resounding win over Montpellier with a 100 percent lineout record so that’s enough for Tracy to take his place in our team of the week.

3. Tadhg Furlong

Leinster’s front-row was superb against Montpellier with Furlong, surely a Lion-in-waiting, once again catching the eye.

4. Tim Swinson

It’s normally Jonny Gray who gets the plaudits, but Swinson was great for Glasgow in their defeat to Munster.

5. Devin Toner

It was another commanding performance from the Leinster and Ireland second-row as they hammered a sorry Montpellier outfit.

6. Jack Conan

The hat-trick hero for Leinster is one of Ireland’s top up and coming back-rows and his stock rose further with a commanding performance against Montpellier.

7. Tom Wood

Wood was superb for Northampton against Castres and he will be hopeful of keeping his space in the back-row for England come the championship.

8. Teimana Harrison

Harrison is on England’s radar and improved his chances of featuring against France with a try double against Castres.
